Mark your calendars forTeam Mass (10:00 am Mass) and Brunch at St John the Baptist Church in Howard. 

This is a very special family event.  Our runners participate in every aspect of Mass (just wait until you see and hear a full choir of runners!), and we have brunch together as a team family following Mass. We also ask each family who attends to bring a dish to pass.

Who: NDA Cross Country Team and all Family members

Attire: Athletes please wear a cross country shirt & tan pants 

When:  Sunday, September 8th
10:00am Mass, followed by brunch in the Commons/Gym

**Pews will be reserved on the choir side of the church.  Please arrive early to ensure a seat.


From Mason Street, take Packerland Drive north.  This turns into Cardinal Lane.  St. John’s is on the right after passing the YMCA (approx. .7miles).  Turn right into St. John’s school/church parking lot (just before Glendale Ave).

What Do I Bring?

Please bring one of the following breakfast items –

  • A favorite baked breakfast dish (Quiche, French Toast, etc. 9” x 13” pan).
  • Fresh Fruit tray
  • Breakfast bread or muffins
  • Please drop off baked dishes between 9-9:40am in the school commons, located at the West entrance of the school, by the gym.  We have a warmer on-site.
  • If you want to help, but don’t have time to bake…Please consider donating money toward the purchase of a ham & beverages. ($10.00 suggested donation).  Address for monetary donations TBD.

Musicians:  Please meet in the church at 9:00am to practice if you plan to sing or play an instrument at Mass.  We want as many athletes as possible to gather together and sing as we give thanks to God for our blessings.
