We use three primary means of communication for NDA CC: email, website (http://crosscountry.notredameacademy.com), and text messaging. The text messaging system, Celly, requires you “opt in”.  We require each student and at least one parent/guardian to be on the text system.

For NEW CC Celly Users:

Instructions are DIFFERENT for students vs parents (different distributions).

Instructions for Student/Athletes to “opt in”:

  1. Enter (920) 569-0552 for a new text message on your cellphone.
  2. Type @NDACrossCountry in the body of the text message and send.
  3. When prompted for a user name use LAST name FIRST name with no space between.  For example: JonesLisa. Please use the exact same format as the username for all prompts requesting name.

Instructions for Parents to “opt in”:

  1. Enter (920) 569-0552 for a new text message on your cellphone.
  2. Type @NDACCParents in the body of the text message and send.
  3. When prompted for a user name use LAST name FIRST name with no space between.  For example: JonesLisa.  Please use the exact same format as the username for all prompts requesting name.

FOR ALL USERS:

Free Celly Phone App:

Please consider downloading the Celly app for iphone or Android.  Celly insists this is the most reliable and easiest way to get texts. When you download the app turn on notifications and texts will appear on your text “home screen.”  This is the icon that will appear on your phone.  Celly ideally would like all our users on the app to improve transmission time and reduce cost.

Celly Online:

Celly can also be managed online!  Log onto https://cel.ly.  If you like desktop texting.

For EXISTING Celly users:

Existing Celly users should be all set!  If you have changed your cell phone number please contact Lauri Cullen below.

If you do not have texting capability?

If parents and/or students do not have text capabilities, please contact Lauri Cullen as soon as possible at either 920 562-7850 or lcullen@new.rr.com.  She has alternative ways to be sure you will be kept informed.
