Fr. Jordan Neeck, O.Praem., is a priest of St. Norbert Abbey and a chaplain and teacher of theology at Notre Dame Academy.
Fr. Neeck ran cross-country and track for Phillips High School, and ran in the Wisconsin State Cross-Country meet in 2006. After graduating from St. Norbert College in 2011 with a BBA in Accounting, he worked in finance for Barry-Wehmiller in his hometown of Phillips, WI. While working in finance he grew in his passion for teaching high school students and running by serving as an assistant coach at Phillips High School for both cross-country and track from 2011-2013 before joining religious life.
Fr. Neeck ran his first marathon in 2011 at Whistlestop in Ashland, WI, and qualified and ran in the 123rd Boston Marathon in April 2019. He also helps pace races in the Wisconsin area with OnPace Race.
Fr. Neeck finds running to be a part of a balanced life. Not only does the sport keep the body strong, but also the spirit. Running has become a spiritual exercise for him in offering time for reflection and prayer with God.
