Course Map (please note changed from prior years.): Shawano is still finalizing the course layout and will be forwarding the course map when it is ready. We will have course maps available for teams when they arrive Saturday morning.

7:00 a.m Arrive at NDA.
7:10 a.m. Bus Departs NDA
8:15 a.m. Opening Ceremonies – Teams gather at the southwest gate of the football field and walk out onto the middle of the football field when your team is announced. The National Anthem will be played after all teams are introduced.

11:45a.m. Presentation of Awards in the Stadium* Weather permitting, we will have an awards program on the football field that will follow after the last race. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, coaches only will be invited into the high school commons to get their results and any individual awards for their team.

Meet Format: There will be 4 races, including JV Girls, JV Boys, Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys. (Race times below). Scoring will be based on divisional placement.
Live Results: The Live Results link will be available through PTTiming. (Please note, that the live results link will not go ‘live’ until closer to the meet.) Scoring for varsity teams will be broken down into 3 divisions based on WIAA divisional placements.
Awards: There will be medals for the top 10 individuals in each division of the varsity races, a plaque for the top overall finisher in each varsity race, medals to the top finisher overall by grade level in each varsity race, medals for the first 15 finishers in the JV races, a plaque for the top varsity team in each division, a plaque to the overall invite champion of all divisions, and a plaque of the top JV team in each JV race.
Team Camps: Teams can assemble their tents in the area just to the southwest of the finish line.
Spikes: Athletes can use spikes.
Course: The course will be lined and flagged, and we will provide a lead vehicle and a trail vehicle. Mile and 2 miles will be marked.
Athletic Trainer: An Athletic Trainer and Shawano EMTs will be available throughout the meet, beginning at 7:30AM.

Concessions and T-Shirts: Concessions will be available. 2024 Hawk Invite Shirts will also be available for sale on the day of the event. Short sleeve shirts are $15, Long sleeve shirts are $20.:
Bus Parking: Parking will be at a premium on this date as we are also hosting an 8-team varsity volleyball invitation at the same time. Upon arrival, may enter campus via Lincoln St. to pull into our lots to drop off your team. We ask that your bus proceed back out to Lincoln St. and then park on County Road B, on the south side of the road facing to the east. (Please see the attached map. Red arrows indicate arrival and dropoff, yellow arrows show where to proceed to park.). Bus drivers are asked to park as far east as possible on Hwy B., filling in behind the buses that have arrived before your bus. Our staff will direct bus parking and ask for your bus driver’s cooperation.
