Who Races? The top finishing 20 girls and 20 boys at the Two Rivers Invitational.

Mass: Friday, there will be Mass during school hours – it is an assembly day schedule.

Departure:  The team will depart NDA immediately following school on Friday, Sept 6.  It is an overnight trip.

Team Hotel: For Parents interested in staying at the team hotel, there are currently available rooms as the hotel where the team will be staying.  Please do not take a room on the NDA block as those rooms are exclusively for team allocation. The hotel:

Format:   Saturday, September 7, 2019                             

9:05am – JV Girls and Freshman Girls 4000m
10:00am –  Freshman Boys 4000m (NDA Freshman boys will be running Varsity or JV – not participating in this race).
10:35am – Varsity Girls 5000m (10 run)
11:20am – Varsity Boys 5000m (8 run)
11:50am – JV Boys 5000m
12:20 pm – Open 4000m (no fee, no HS, waiver required)  

Parking:  All busses, team vehicles & spectators should come in on Highway E and then turn left onto Hwy JR to access the UW- Parkside Physical Education or Communication Arts parking lots located off of Hwy JR east of the course.  There is no participant drop off on Highway JR. No parking allowed in any of the Petrifying Springs parking lots – this includes teams, coaches and spectators. The Kenosha County Sheriff Department has ticketed those violating this policy in past years!  Handicap Parking (with Permit) is allowed in the lot immediately North of the course on Hwy JR.

UW-Parkside: The UW-Parkside PE Building is off limits to our group.

Petrifying Springs Park:  UW-Parkside has added additional port-a-lets to the race site for 2019. Please utilize those located at the course rather than the ones at Pets. We also request that all warmups are conducted on the UWP course. All teams are required to have their team camps at the designated area on the UWPXC course. NO team camps are allowed in Petrifying Springs.

T-Shirts/Concessions:  Shirts will be sold for $10.00. The UWPXC/T&F team will operate a concession stand at the course for the entire meet.    T-shirt and concession sales are cash only.

I-94 Closures affecting UWPXC this fall: There are I-94 closures as part of the I-94 North-South Freeway Project scheduled through late fall.  Go to their website for the latest updates. Please allow extra travel time when traveling to UWP.

Tents:  All team tents should be placed behind the finish line. Meet staff will direct you to a spot. Teams may not set-up team camps in Petrifying Springs Park.

Course:  The course is the UW-Parkside JR 5000 meter high school course. Restricted areas will be roped off, coned or marked with signage.  Please remember that is prohibited to mark the course in any manner, including paint, streamers, signage, etc. A digital display clock will provide the countdown for each race and one will provide splits at the 1, 2 & 3 mile marks. Once the first race of the day race has started, warm-ups on the course are limited to following the race in progress. Teams may not warm-up randomly on the course during the race in progress.

Timing and Scoring:  Wisconsin Runner will be timing and scoring for the meet using the state-of-the-art MyLaps disposable chip system in conjunction with Finish Lynx Ether Lynx Photo Finish and Identi Lynx Video Cameras. Results will be posted to: www.wisconsinrunner.com/results. during the meet. On Thursday night prior to the meet a meet start list and course map, as well as general meets information and updates, will be posted to the WR website.
