With the arrival of September, we all know the weather can be unpredictable. We really need our runners to plan ahead and to be prepared to adapt. We run in all types of weather because we need to be prepared to race in all kinds of weather. We ask kids to have warmer clothes ready for post-workout times etc. It is a good practice for our team to have to think ahead and it shows commitment to the team.

As coaches, we know that when one or two kids get sick, it is highly likely that it will whip through our team. Please help us make sure you are getting enough sleep, eating right and staying on top of your homework. Most importantly, please remember the need to wash your hands frequently. In past years, this upcoming week is when we really see the number of kids catching a cold etc. increases because you have been in school for several weeks.
